Studio B Gallery presents a selection of captivating works by a new Sew Sisters Artist Guild member Lani Maeglin Imre. Lani’s beautiful, intense portraits draw the audience in and delve into themes of female identity and sexual fantasy, commenting on the confusing messages created by the media. Lani has a varied background in several artistic media including sculptural ceramics and print making, and has studied at Kootenay School of the Arts in Nelson, BC as well as Nova Scotia School of Art and Design in Halifax, NS. She enjoys a nomadic way of living and is currently located in Squamish, BC.
Lani’s works will be on display end of September until December.
